We have heard the media "only lets you know what they want you to know" for years, but right here is the proof! Who has even heard of this? The Bill has gone through, as of Feb.2011, now it is up to us to petition to repeal this bill. GO CANADA! Petition this bill out!

Do you really think that we don't already have safeguards against poor products? Why does Health Canada need sweeping powers to "protect" consumers? If you read the Bill, Health Canada would not even have to step into a courtroom if they wanted to seize you, your family, your home, your business. They don't have to answer to justice or the courts. Who is behind this Bill? Hmmmm...... certainly not the people. Maybe Big Pharma? nahh, couldn't be ....

Wake up. Don't let Health Canada's radio and tv commercials scare you.

There is not 1 single documented case of a Natural Health Product causing death in Canada's history. That's a fact. Health Canada hasn't even done 1 single RISK assessment against ANY NHP, nor the actual RISK that it might have if removed from the market. That is another FACT. Contact Health Canada and ask them. Compare this to "safe" pharmaceuticals that kill people daily.

A very important bill; the use of supplements by informed citizens can save millions, if not billions, of health care dollars. Safeguarding our right to purchase them is an absolute necessity.

If I want to try to "cure" an ailment with a natural product, who are you and/or health Canada to say anything different? It is called freedom!

And when was the last time you ever heard of a mass recall of any health product? Or any mass illnesses or death because of one?

Things change. Laws change. People's safety comes first. The law needs to be changed to provide some form of control over this extremely labile field of "natural products". There is very little, if any, scientific proof behind these products and they can be sold with little legislation to uneducated (on the matter) lay people, playing on their desires to find a cure/help for an ailment they may have that is not curable with regular drug therapy. It's time for change...
