It's Going To Be Okay - Season 2 Episode 16 Part 2

Mitchell: (Walks down the hall and goes into Demis room, sitting next to her bed)
Demi: (Notices someones in her room, and slowly wakes up) Joe?
Mitchell: (Stands up) Uh, no. Did you want me to get him?
Demi: Its alright, Im sure hes out telling everyone Im okay.
Mitchell: (Sits back down) Are you?
Demi: (Nods)
Mitchell: Im sorry I upset you.
Demi: (Half smiles, then nods again)
Mitchell: Please say something.
Demi: What do you want me to say?
Mitchell: I dont know.
Demi: Well me either.
Mitchell: Do you really think being honest with me was a mistake?
Demi: As much of a mistake as you sleeping with Emily was.
Mitchell: (Looks down)
Demi: Why did you anyways?
Mitchell: I dont know. That first night were I met your friends, I saw the way Joe looked at you. And more importantly I saw the way you looked at him. I guess that was the point where I figured out that you had some connection with him deeper then we could ever have. So I guess if you werent going to tell me, then I would just have to move on. The first thing that came to me was to hurt you before you could hurt me.
Demi: (Takes his hand)
Mitchell: (Looks into her eyes) So Im really sorry. For then, and for now.
Demi: (Sighs) I forgive you Mitchell.
Mitchell: So, this friends thing you keep talking about Are you willing to still give it a try? Because I care about you too much too, to lose you from my life.
Demi: Of course, Mitch.
Mitchell: So are you happy that youre pregnant? I mean, this time around it is a little bit different.
Demi: For the most part, I am happy, yes.
Mitchell: Its just the part that theres two possible fathers that gets to you?
Demi: I guess. Im sorry.
Mitchell: Dont be. As your friend, I know youd be happier with Joe as the father. As long as your happy, then so am I.
Demi: (Smiles) Thanks. That means a lot.
Mitchell: So just to clear things up, you can do a test starting around the tenth week of your pregnancy. When that time comes I will be around to take it. Im going to be going for now, now that I know youre alright (Kisses her cheek) Good luck Demi. Well do lunch sometime.
Demi: (Nods) Okay. See you later.
Mitchell: (Leaves)
