Dude, that is AWESOME! Great idea, and a great image! Like the Billy Corgan story in the film, I have spent MANY hours sitting people down and (attempting to) make them listen to Rush (sorry, mom!). I've had the best success with drummers. For my funeral, I would like to have all of Moving Pictures played. The first song I ever heard on the radio when I moved to Canada was Tom Sawyer. It blew my mind. Now it is the permanent ringtone one my phone.... rock on! :)

Hey guys, guess what band is playing at my funeral? I'm going to make everyone sit through the first side of Hemispheres, while I lay wearing my favorite RUSH t-shit and a party hat with a party blower in my mouth.

after neil's first wife died the band decided to spare him the onslaught of questions about that painful topic. that's why he's never involved in public appearances besides concerts. but that was years ago, though, and fans have long gone past that topic; the fans miss talking to their hero.

Time and again, video after video, Alex is fucking hilarious!

@bearmare If you have Netflix I think there is one there, I watched it a while back. Not as well done as this was but pretty interesting.

@CearaQC i dont think its that they wouldnt be willing to spend time with anyone like that, i dont think they have the TIME to do that with everyone who wanted to...

what a show it was man. They are the best
I love those guys and would die happy if I could spend an afternoon with them just hanging out. But they would never give someone like me the time of day. LOL The price of fame I guess makes them avoid almost all contact with most of the public. But they are humble, honest, intelligent and amazing people nonetheless.

I'm glad they allowed the documentary to be made. They should also be glad, because watching the documentary caused me to buy their first seven albums. ;-)
