http://drivencarreviews.com/ Infiniti could have copied BMW or Mercedes like so many have before, but they've clearly taken their own road with the M37 S. It delivers the stuff needed to play in this market, the only thing missing are enlightened buyers. Tom Voelk follows a BMW 7 Series in downtown traffic without touching the brake pedal to see how well Distance Control Assist works.

quick question, you have the S model but still have the snow mode. is it good for the snow like the M37X or less?

If I remember correctly, snow mode allows for more wheel spin before traction control kicks in. My S tester did not have AWD and though traction control helps, rear drive is not optimal for snow and ice. The X designation for G and M means all-wheeel drive that of course makes it much better in slick conditions.

At 0:30 when you list the competitors, I thought the CTS was a rival to the entry level G25/G37 sedan?? I'm pretty sure the Lexus GS is more of a direct rival opposed to the Cadillac CTS?? By the way I love your reviews, you are very creative!! Especially at 4:03, you really make your videos worth watching!

Yes, I should have mentioned the GS in the video (I do in the written review). There are times when I just don't get to every detail or competitor. The CTS kind of slots between the G and M in my opinion so it covers a wider spectrum. That should change as the ATS comes out, then I'd expect the next gen CTS to grow a bit. Glad you enjoy the videos. Thanks!

Something about tailing a 100K automobile without using the brake pedal gets the heart rate up a bit.
