IN THIS VIDEO, Major Dave "Zeke" Skalicky takes to the skies with an F-22 for the first of two demonstrations over the skies of Quonset State Airport. Yes, I said that right - Zeke flew TWO demonstrations on Saturday. This demonstration has to be, in my opinion, one of the best Raptor demos I have seen to date.

@bujoun76 true,The F-15C max's out at 1888mph while they say its 1650+ but they say the F-22 reache's around 1550mph but im sure the engine's are powerful enough to make it go past that.It's range is classified,Really sence it's a high level of stealth alot of the stuff that is said isnt accurate.But yeah time will tell.

@1bearcatf8f I wouldn't be so sure about specifics when it comes to the F-22. They're still classified but I did hear the previous Raptor demo pilot say "the F-22's engines produce over 37,000lbs. of thrust each" and then he threw in something else I found interesting. He said that "supercruise above Mach 1.9 is classified". I wouldn't be surprised if the top speed is considerably greater than the F-15's. Time will tell.

@nwtruckerll The F-22 tops 1550mph the SU-27 isnt much faster.The F-22 still maintain's an edge over the SU-27 that would lose easily.Now an SU-35BM or T-50 would be a nice even fight.

@1bearcatf8f Actually the Su is "faster". The 22 has a better CTR 28 degrees per second, the su 22 per second. (20000 ft) Red flag 2008-4....two part lecture-video :)

@ybdiffrent well the real cobra is a move that gets you on the enemies tail what is performed isnt as good.The sukhoi's are more aerodynamic and can handle high G manuver's like the cobra,double blackflip whatever.Still our planes are faster

And the su-whatevers may have their cobra maneuver, but they are one trick ponys. this baby has the full bag of tricks, and more. the best battle is the one that never gets fought.

lest we forget, a HUGE thanks goes to airshofansh and the IMPECCABLE camera work on this video. i know how hard it is to track a moving target from the ground like this, but the audio and video quality is SUPERB. as good or better than anything a hired pro could have done. KUDOS!!!
