This is part one of this trio sonata. Other movements will follow later.
It is a sonata also know as a sonata for viola da gamba and harpsichord, or known as a trio for 2 flutes or violins.
With the trio sonata from the Musical Offering, this is the only one that has survived. The gamba sonata is BWV 1027.

  • Thank you!

  • Gorgeous music! And, an ingenious idea for "framing" the soloists, throughout the sonata.

    Very well done!

  • Thanks for that honour!

  • I like your tempo! And the organ fits well as the continuo.... I have added your version to my play list of the versions on YouTube that I particularly like.
