That's stupid then, the last foot is when you need a sensor most - they should go constant at about 10 cm so you can actually get close enough to squeeze into spaces etc.

@pumazooma: 30cm is too! much to pay for parking sensors system (pss), isnt it ? I'd not pay extra for staff like that ...cause I'm able to park better/closer/faster without 'pss'.

The tone goes to continuous and the light goes red when you get to 30cm from the object. That's about what I've stopped at.
