@oxlovelybeautyox I heard in it she's detailing the life of Winter's little sister. I hope after delving deeper into the lives of a couple characters from Coldest Winter Ever she brings it full circle and writes something tying their lives back together. I was surprised that in Midnight there really was no mention of how he ended up working for Winter's father. But then again she's a super strong author and her characters are able to stand on their own.

Sister Souljah definitely has a cult following when it comes to her books! lol She's a dope author! These are two of my faves...great review! Especially the breaking down of how "we", as Americans, look in the eyes of other cultures, as well as the touching on how Midnight presents another side of Islam. I wasn't a huge fan of the ending of Midnight either, but it has me excited to read the next book.
