dead right you are. SO why do you dance. If you are not dancing for the attention for others then why do you dance... i ask out of interest? You say "bellydance is magic" what is the magic if it is not the power of attraction? I want to understand, not to challenge :)

@lsdvine I want to dance because when I dance I feel Happy. I went into depression after my brother died. And when I started dancing, i could forget my pain. It was an outlet of expression for me. Since I couldnt find words to express my pain. Each dance step became words and the dance itself became my voice. There are many dancers out there who thinks they know belly dance and do something sleazy for cheap attention. And there are also dancers like me who knows the history behind an artform

Isn't the purpose of the dance to be entertaining and provocative? Define sex any way you want but bellydance in any form may or may not be sexy to the beholder. I may watch you dance and never view it as sexy. But another woman may dance to the music using your same technique and be highly arousing. The personality makes a huge difference.
