* Yi Sek(李穡:1328-1396) is a Korean scholar from Koryeo (918-1392) that succeed Koguryeo. Koryeo, Post-Koguryeo, fell in 1392 with the rise of Joseon. He is singing his lementable feeling about dying Koryeo

* Young-Myong-Sa : stationed in Pyungyang in North part of Korea. This is known as one of nine temples that Gwanggaeto Taewang(375-413) built.

* Bubyungnoo : a building that belongs to Young-Myong-Sa

* Jocheonseok : a legendary rock that is told that Korean emperors rode on it to fly to Heaven to meet heavenly Lord (Han).

* Kirin-Ma : As a Legendary horse of Jumong Taewang, he rode on it to race to meet Heavenly Lord (Han).
Kirin-Ma means a horse with ability of racing 400 km in a day

* son of Hanul-nim : Jumong
* Hanul-nim : Heaven / Heavenly Lord/ Han/ Khan/ Dan

I'm amazed also by the fact that a scholar in 14th centurty refers back to ancient days way before his time so naturally. Looks like Goryeo saw itself as a reincarnation and continuation of Goguryeo.

Yeah, it is fourth Koguryeo following 1st Koguryeo of Jumong, 2nd of Dae Jo Young and 3rd of Gungye (Hu Koguryeo). Emperoro Wang-Ghon succeeded to Hu Koguryeo and later he changed its name into 'Koryeo'

One of Koryeo scholars (in 12C) wrote a epic poem to celebrate the founder of Koguryeo(Jumong) and Koguryeo. It consists of 282 lines.

There is a poem by You-Ri Taewang. It is a love poem. I will put that too later.

truthfully, I think Balhae was the true reincarnation of Koguryeo. Dae Joyoung was a great and inspiring leader to the people.

The time period of the poem is even before BC -> AD change and the writer wrote it in 14th century. About 1400 yr difference. Amazing.

You are wrong. Shang dynasty was built by Dongyi. I have never read any book saying Shang was by Xia or something. chinese find their identity from Ju(Chu) dynasty. Some books say, Xia came from far west of Shang and some books say they came from southeast Asaia.
