  • These are primitive and dangerous techniques . Do not use them ! The instructor must have been reading a 1950s manual .

  • This is an excellent example of how NOT to transfer a patient. Dangerous for both health care worker and patient. Very poor advice!!

  • ??????????100 x pressure on your back muscles if lifting away from your body............They should have the bed raised, just look at the posture of them - Don't let them look afetr me when I get old

  • Slide Sheets?

  • agreed. i'm a student pt and some of these techniques look catastrophic - especially as patients need an INDIVIDUALISED plan. Sometimes you can't just apply some generic techniques. Speak to your physio or occupational therapist and they will show you how you should care for the person you need to care for.

  • agreed. i'm a student pt and this looks pretty catastrophic. who is this lady!

  • Dreadful techniques and an accident waiting to happen. PLEASE DO NOT USE THE TECHNIQUES SHOWN IN THIS VIDEO

  • You should have someone use this narrow gait belt on you. It would make you want to buy a good one!

  • What movie is this from?
