A mind blowing run from a top fuel car at Santa Pod on 2nd October 2010. You had to be standing where I was to appreciate the force, sound and chest cavity vibration, I was ready knowing what to expect and it still shocked me when it launched!

That was Shelley Pearson's final run that got her a shiny new Top Fuel licence. Looked to be very calmly done. Excellent job by her and the crew, which includes her dad.

It was an excellent run as you say very smooth indeed. Considering that track wasn't fullly prepped I think Shelley did a fantastic job. Unfortunately I had both hands on the camera and no ear defence whatsoever and it nearly blew my brains out!
