  • I dont have yamalube where I live. Wich other oils can I use? Does it has to be sintetic oil? The most available option I have is MOTUL brand. What specs should I be concerned of when I buy oil. My bike its a YZ250f. I hope you can help me. Thanx!

  • @alanmorfin - your manual will specify the types of motor oil. As long as it is made for motorcycles specifically you will be fine. I have known plenty of people that have run car motor oil with no problems, but they may not be as good on motorcycle clutches.

  • Is it okay if I turn my yzf on its side so I don't get oil everywhere when I am changing the oil filter?

  • @kawisaregreen120 - you bet you can.

  • this has nothing to do with the vid but what do i do when i pop a wheelie and my foorks make a thump nois like i bottomed out but it makes that noise when it comes off the ground

    ??

  • @jesserodriguez73 - what bike? i would be concerned the damping rods (if it has them) aren't hooked up inside.

  • I'm not happy that I bought my bike used, even though I got a good deal on it it had some problems that I didn't notice when I test rode it.

  • Thanks for that. I wasnt too sure about leaving tank air bleed open while refilling and start up to get the oil to refill the tank.

    But you answered that..

    Cheers.

  • what weight on the oil should i use?

  • what about the dipstick at the top of the frame? it filters through?

  • Wow wish I watched this before I changed mine, only drained one point thus blowing my engine up after not putting enough oil back in! Excellent video
