Pushing is usually associated with stretch and glue screens (low mesh tension) as opposed to work hardened mesh in a Newman frame. The mesh is being pushed in stretch and glue screens (metal or wood) like a wave, and that takes muscle. I understand your comments about Pull vs Push, but I've felt like pushing has overall increased my output and quality. I don't see any downside to it, and I've been printing for about 10 years. I mostly push white ink. Otherwise, I'll select my method depending. After printing 500 4 color front/back shirts in about 1 day, I just noticed pushing made a huge difference.
