This poor juvenile doesn't understand the difference between 'earmarks' and routine funds apportioned to the several states. After he graduates from high school maybe he'll understand some common political and economical terms.

to be fair, he never said explicitly that he's for earmarks... i mean, the quote could mean a bunch of different things. he might not be referring to earmarks specifically.
that said, even if was talking about earmarks, i'm not surprised in the least bit.. well, maybe a little since he's the son of one of the few republicans i consider honorable..
but hey, obama lied on multiple occasions during his campaign along with every other politician and people still back them...
so what else is new??

Mr. Paul didn't say that he now wants to keep earmark system. Did you really expected that he will abstain from using earmark tools for his state while other states are given earmarks? The codeword: transition.
And of course - he will probably won't be able to put into effect most of his plans - they are in direct opposition to mainstream politics.

This is a total misquote taken out of context.

Hey Genious there is a difference between "earmarks" which = unnecessary spending i.e. junk that's loaded into bills by special interests and monies that are apportioned to the state to maintain services and public works you dope. Good lord another media golden boy thinks he understands political economy just another mouth piece for the Mal Media.

David you don't know what your talking about. You've clearly bought into the smear campaigns against him.You also didn't display that you even tried to get the other side of the story, proving to me that your information is not credible.

there are smart and stupid earmarks. giving a fish hatchery and stuff like that millions is stupid. getting your state that same money for good uses is smart.

@TheHandOfGovernment They aren't interested in understanding Rand Paul, that much should be obvious. These are the same people that jumped on board to the stomper smear campaign, even though the actions of one person have nothing to do with a politician's platform and they failed horribly in their smear efforts. They don't get it and don't deserve someone who will stand up for their freedom.
