Looks kinda freaky. Tim Burton is such a weirdo in a good way.

The windmill is a reference to the James Whale "Frankenstein". The monster is "killed" at the end in a similar fashion seen in Frankenweenie. The film is more or less aimed at capturing the horror monsters of the 1930s and 50's (hence the classic Universal monsters, a giant monster, the Boris Karloff character, and of course the aesthetics of the film). It's essentially a love letter to classic horror, just as Ed Wood was a love letter to an eccentric filmmaker and the 50's B-movies.

Watch it and you will always make sure the lead on your dog is secure.

I cried and cried it is the saddest movie I have ever watched it really got to me.

One problem.... I thought the massive turtle and exploding monkey thing were a bit silly, I think they should have just been evil because they did it for evil reasons.

Like victor did it for love then the second time no perpose at all.

And at the end, I think sparky should have been gone and that it was best to give him up and keep him in your heart. That he was where he was meant to be.

I'll be honest (and I'm not trying to hurt anybody's feelings) But I thought this movie was kind of awful. there wasn't much of a plot, the characters were dull, the voice acting was spotty at times, and the message was kind of screwed up if you think about it. The only things that I liked were the animation, and the cool designs on some of the characters, I would say give it a pass but that's just me.

It's a weird film, but I almost cried at the end...He brought back his dog into life because of his love for him and that dog serves as his best friend where I can relate with...I love this movie
