Thank you for this vid. In addition, to this problem, my upper liner gets on my upper lid because my lids are so heavy. What do you suggest? I love lining my upper eyelid.

make sure your liner is transfer-proof when it sets. It also helps if you put a little transluscent powder on the liner so that it sets faster. You can also use a sealer like SheLaq

If I am asian, have heavy lid and my eyes are medium size, should I only line the upper lashline to avoid making my eyes look closed in/smaller?

hey shorty - definitely play with different looks and stand back to see how your eye look from a couple feet away. You be surprise at the different techniques you come up with. Lining the upper, and just doing a soft smudging on the lower works very well with asian eyes.

Hey Koren, do you know about the eyelid tape that creates creases on monolids? My makeup artist used them on me for my wedding but did not really want to reveal what she used to cover them up. I have tried the Mac paint and cream eyeshadows but still could not cover them successfully. Can you suggest some products for me to cover up the tapes, please? Thanks.

Ben Nye have concealers that covers pretty much anything from tapes to glues and other prosthetic materials. Its a theatrical brand so their stuff are pretty good. Have a looka t their website. Another brand is Kryolan.

I find it a little odd that you would call the monolid feature a "problem" (18 seconds in). It's neither a medical problem nor does it make a person ugly. It's little things that sneak into our vernacular that would clue us in as to how a person perceives a particular natural trait. That is my one and only complaint with this video. Otherwise, it's very well done.

I'm so sad that I was cursed with these heavy eye lids! All my friends can apply eye liner on the top lid without having to apply half an inch of it so it's actually visible..

Awesome! I have to do this technique since I'm omg 47 now and my lids are droopy, but I'm not quite to the EYE JOB level yet! But I will get there probably by age 50. I just don't want the hollowed out look that some women get with the eye job. Ack. Great look!!!!!!
