  • My father is in the military and when I was 11 his truck got blown up in Afghanistan maybe you've seen the video on here done by discovery. In the end he survived and walked away with nothing on him, he lost his best friend in that truck. The government needs to realize they are tearing us apart! My dad is all the way in Colorado while I'm stuck in NC. My father was never there except when I was little. I want my dad home! (im 16 now)

  • @mathiasbeat it is the government who are not serious about the war.

  • I love this song, but I wonder about categorizing as about the US military alone. Josh has sung this song in other countries and they can identify with it as well. I'm not sure we help him with his international market by making it so much about us.

  • Sometimes i think that the US army are not serious about the war.

  • @gaarasspawn

I think that the shame must be killing them !!! , not refusing to kill them . !!!

  • @QJshepherd I have to follow orders. The military is my career. The job I have in the Navy is working with missiles. Innocents are bound to be killed. It does not mean I enjoy killing the innocent but I don't want the shame of being dishonorably discharged.

  • @gaarasspawn Just don't kill innocent people

  • @gaarasspawn stay safe.

  • This song hits very close to home. I have several friends in the military and overseas. I just joined the Navy in September. So I'll be joining my friends soon.

  • This song is inspiring and a true tribute to those who serve us in our Armed Forces and pay such a terrible price ensuring our safety and the fight in helping our veterans once they return home by their loved ones and friends. Hats off to Josh for this song . He got it right.
