I want to engage Muslims as important allies against radical Islamic terrorism. I do not use the word "Islamic" to offend anyone, I want to help identify the problem that terrorists are using Islam to kill Muslims. Muslims are the biggest victims of radical Islamic terrorism. When a bomb goes off in Pakistan it is Muslims who are laying bloodied and mangled in the streets. If I do not have Muslims as allies, then I lose my most important ally.

That's true, but is this the time? Clearly not. Is there any benefit from violence? We have to look at the costs and benefits.
Br Altaf is saying don't let the emotion of the clear injustice let someone do something that only creates more harm, not only for others, but for himself.

But violance does have its place in Islam. This message makes it seem like Muslims are NEVER allowed to resort to violence when injustices are being done against them, which is not true.
We need a more academic message that actually goes into the details of violence and refutes extremism.
