2009 Nobel Peace Prize Goes to President Obama

Citing his outreach to the Muslim world, and his attempts to curb nuclear proliferation, The Norwegian Nobel Committee awarded the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize to President Barack Obama. He becomes the 3rd sitting U.S. President to win the award. (Oct. 9)

President Carter got the peace prize too. You know Obama was nominated for the Nobel Peace prize twelve days after taking office. Upon acceptance of winning it, Obama was praised by the committee, "extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy". . They also gave the peace prize to Yasser Arafat, the leader of the PLO, the best known terrorist organization on the globe. This is like giving it to David Duke, the former Grand Wizard of the KKK.

i wonder in the beginning of the previous century the nobel physics prize awarded for the amusing x-rays discovery.which has a practical use in everyday life but amongst most other supposely new discoveries or breakthrough of these bright scientists the x-rays belong to common sense.simply they discover something that even the dumbest human
