I have a brain injury. The hardest part for me, is I look fine even though I'm falling apart inside. Brain injuries are so difficult because they are an invisible disability. I look fine; even when I'm so confused & don't know which end is up.

@shannonlaviolette I had a TBI 25 years ago. I only recently recognized it as the root cause of much of my problems in life since it happened. My general family physician has not been helpful with it. Getting an MRI was like pulling teeth. Now I am told that had I been treated for it at the onset I could even have been receiving disabilities for these 25 years due to the severity of the damage to my frontal lobes. It has been VERY deleterious to my life. I hope that is now changing.
