nice job friend, what lay out is this on?
-
Aah now I like the way that train rocks and creeps on that curve real cool man.

Adam, that was a cool view of the layout. I like that fill the track is built on (it looks realistic). Thanks for mentioning the song and who performed it in your vid synopses -- it's nice info to know, especially since you choose great music to accompany your vids.

ic gp-10 rebuilds from ic's paducah shop with chopped nose and a ox-yoke air filter, don't think the ccp got any of the ic's gp-40's when the ccp was formed, liked the gm&o insulated box car though & the ic caboose even though i don't think the ccp ever used cabooses

You are right, the CCP only got GP38s, never 40s. Actually, the CCP used quite a few cabooses. A lot of them were the old orange IC jobbies, but they had a few in their own scheme, black and yellow. Atlas is coming out with some.

chicago central indeed used gp40s for a time in 1992-1993 from the conrail. also the owned ex. gmo 50 foot box cars with cc initials. most important yes they had at one time 14 cabooses and were used on locals and interchange freights.

Thats some interesting info! I wish I could remember the CCP days, but I was too young. The Silver Creek and Stephenson railroad just south of Freeport has one of the old orange CCP cabooses.
