  • She runs at 300rpm at idle and at 600rpm the ship is cruising at about 10 knots. The metallic "tapping" you can here in the video is the exhaust flap!

    The barge is from 1927, but the motor is not, is it ?

  • I've worked with this types of Stork engines and this model the R155 runs at top 1000 Rpm for marine engines and 1200 Rmp for industrial engines.

    But at 600/ 750 Rpm is just fine, treat her well and she will last forever.
