On February 4th, students from all over Ireland will gather in Dublin City for a massive demonstration against student fees.

Minister for Education Batt O'Keeffe is planning on introducing thousands of euro fees for students, in addition to raising the registration fee to €1,500 in September.

Now more than ever, Ireland needs a young, well educated workforce to attract foreign investment to help us out of this recession. Introducing fees will deter thousands from going to college.

The Minister thinks students are an easy target - that we are going to sit back and do nothing.

On February 4th thousands of students will gather in Dublin to show him just how wrong he is.

@johnthetrevor Perhaps you should read into this before making an complete idiot of yourself. Hint: since this video was posted in 2009, University fees have now risen from EUR1,500 to EUR2,000 per annum. Any more and the Universities will close - noone can afford that.

im sorry but if i was in charge of this country, id raise the fees a lot more than planned, all these spotty long haired wasters want to do is get out of work.
