Wow. I've never seen the old opening credits. Paul's cover of the song suits the show so much more.

Ahh....those were the days. I miss going to tapings of the show. And yes I know it's on again but I live in Brisbane now!

Yay, not only is it back: but the intro song is now Paul's own version, no longer using the original tune! So cAtchy!i!

It's a compromise of sorts for Paul, since the format of the show doesn't allow for musical acts to appear...unless the delightful Mark Trevorrow makes an appearance, then they'll have to "bend the rules" ;-)

Mark Trevorrow? Pray tell! Some are too young to remember all the names...

Did you ever watch 'GNW Nightlite'? He was the one that would do "impromptu" duets with Paul, right in the middle of the game, putting the whole show on hold with their "flights of fancy".
He's also better known by his ultra-camp alter-ego, Bob Downe, although it's hard to tell where 'Bob' ends and 'Mark' begins sometimes. Mark, I believe, is an ABC radio presenter at the moment.
