Teaser trailer for new feature-length Smithkraft documentary, TRUTH BE TOLD.
TRUTH BE TOLD studies the lives of several individuals who were raised in the Jehovah's Witness faith. The title refers to a tendency within the religious organization to regard their beliefs exclusively as the truth.
The documentary is not an indictment of religion but rather a retrospective. In a series of informal interviews, former (and current) Jehovah's Witnesses discuss life experiences within the organization including the impact the religion had on their childhood and family, schooling, adolescence, and approaches to dating and marriage. The film also explores how being raised in that religion has shaped their current spiritual beliefs and attitudes.

@bayunquiando It could also be that since when leaving the Witnesses, someone would also lose their family, friends, and the bag could be a symbolism of their wandering outside the organization with what little they have left.

I would assume that the symbolism of the red bag is the burden that we carry which will never leave us until we let go...(I would assume red because of the blood issue) Is tough being a JW, I am so glad I emancipated myself from their mental slavery. (Definitely not quoting Bo Marly) Smiles to all those that have to endure and overcome that "crisis of conscience"....LET STAY STRONG, Blessings from an ATHEIST!
