  • haha! joe hockey.

  • i see the humor on a large scale, very funny.

  • hmmm no offense but i honestly cant see something like that happening in australia - the term communism is taboo. the ppl associate it with mass murderers like stalin and mao

  • how can you think the russian communists were good? the USSR was a totalitarian dictatorship that slaughtered millions.

what do you mean the USSR was a great example of socialism? stalin wasnt very equal.

when the communist party in russia came to power they were corrupted and became just the same as the very ppl they despised.

why do you think stalin did so badly @ the start of ww2? because he had purged his most brilliant officers from his army because he was afraid of opposition

  • No, don't you get it? Socialism happens before communism. Under socialism, the means of production, distribution and exchange are state owned or owned collectivly by the workers. Under communism, community uses the resources of that community to fulfil the needs and wants of that community. There is no cash. so a system of credits would be used to reward workers with things that they want. on teh other hand, the community wil provide the things that the people need.

  • "a communist society with an all powerful directive government is supposed to be the stepping stone to socialism isnt it?"

you got it wrong, dude. socialism gives way to communist not communism gives way to socialism. read the communist manifesto.

communism has never been in power any where in the world. so, how can you judge some thing based on no experience?

The USSR was a great example of socialism because it gave most of the means of production and distribution to be owned collect

  • so basically we all split up into little communities and manage our own affairs? how will we be able to concentrate our effort for the good of the ppl?

and a socialist society is the desired result but first you need to go through the communist stage which does have a government to direct country. and that always ends with corruption
