@nightmike64, that just isnt true! you have to push off the belt so that you counter act the belt's movement. the only difference between treadmill training and over ground training (provided that the treadmill you are using is ridgid enough and powerfull enough, you average gold's gym type treadmills are not capable) is spacial movement and wind resistance. meaning that the objects around you stay still. these treadmills go to 40% incline and 28mph. this is a test run, not a training run.

@dbulldog7872: I found a treadmill that can go to 60%INCLINE and 200MPH.
-
@ImOnRockyTop: No, that is true. If you ran 35MPH, I am way faster than that because I can run up to 200MPH.

@azcade101 Doubt it

If a treadmill went faster than that, I will go faster than that (like 30 mph or more).

@dbulldog7872: No, there is a 30 mph treadmill somewhere. But, you will have to find out which brand made it like that.

@azcade101 there are a handful of 35mph treadmills, but they are research treadmills, not actual production treadmills. you couldn't just go out and buy one. you would have to make it from scratch like they did. but a critical point to remember, is that if you are planning on training on one, it has to be stiff enough to properly transfer power and mimic ground reaction forces and shock absorbtion. if it bounces too much, you can alter the running mechanic, and thus decrease performance.
