there was a tornado today in brooklyn, the first since 1889. first rain and lightning, then a locomotive of wind and water shook my neighborhood from its sucky rainy wednesday morning. water flew vertically left, then right, then left again. Black debris and chunks of old wood that seemed to materialize instantly in mid air slammed into the windows of neighboring apartments and burst into the windshields of parked cars that, without mercy, were ticketed an hour later by the transit vampires for not having moved for the cleaning truck that made absolutely no difference to the beaten street.
Material loss, tickets issued. Sadness awakes with trees torn in half.
i grabbed my camera right after the worse was over.
What is that noise in the background?

The recent Tornado was the only one I have witnessed. I heard there was one in Sunset Park around 2009 or 2009 and now this. I never heard of any of them, but now I got to see the most recent one.

I remember when this hit a few years ago, it started at Church avenue and Macdonald Avenue then worked its way over toward Marlborough avenue.
