love the bass in this track.

Fleetwood and McVie have always been a stellar rhythm section.

Oh well, Peter this what some of us are looking and remembering.
-
I first saw them in 68 in Bournemouth - Jeremy used to play great piano as well as great slide guitar, he did super takes of Elmor James songs and similar. Great pic of a smiling Spencer on the vid of their B side song under the name of Earl Vince & The Valiants called 'Somebody's Gonna Get Their Head Kicked in Tonite!'

well this made made me dig out the only peter green LP i have "The end of the game".i'm about to put stylus to vinyl.film clip at 11.

In the early days Fleetwood Mac kind of split between Peter Green's (mostly Chicago style) blues and Jeremy Spencer's salutes to Elmore James and Buddy Holly. Initially Spencer shared a lot of the vocal/lead/slide stuff. When Danny Kirwan joined, they had a solid second lead guitarist. As big a fan as I am of Peter Green, later albums featured Kirwan prominently.
-
Again, this is Jeremy Spencer on slide and vocals, so all the comments about Peter Green are kind of misguided.

really great playback eh? hadnt noticed until now

Lots of people seem to think Jeremy Spencer was the best vocalist in the band, but I think Greeny's voice is far superior. (But then again, Greeny is God in my opinion)
