Absolutely! Alright, perhaps they would have made it a bit closer ... our scrum was not very good today - or when going up a professional pack (says a former FB who kep as far as possible from all scrummages!)... that is where we need work; but we are a work in progress and the addition of Crowley to the setup is looking positive.

I am pleased that the Canadians competed and played much better than against Ireland - look out Scotland!

Rematch next 30 May 2009 here in Toronto.

How the Welsh 8 and his teammate to the left were not off-side (19s mark)at the ruck is beyond me - both clearly in front of the hind-most foot and should have been penalised for off-side. Seeing as they were the two who put pressure on the clearing kick by Canada, that was a shocking non call by the referee or the touch judge.

The referee was badly positioned - a little lazy ... and since the non call led to the try jsut before half, it was turning point that should not have happened.

You're right. They were offside according to the laws. Unfortunately this is how the game is refereed these days. The standard of refereeing is a continuing source of frustration for me.

Just think, if it wasn't for this heinous miscarriage of rugby justice you would probably have gone on to win the game eh? ;)

Was at this game and was furious at how poorly wales played, no offense to canada they played really well, Wales should have been 30-40 points clear AT LEAST, thats what happens when you stick a second 15 out...

It did flatter us a little, but a win is a win.

this match was horrible wales should be beating canada by 30 clear points at least surprising as one minute they nearly beat the world champs next they get embarrased by some ammitures that dont even play rugby my prediction before the match started was wales 40 canada 0
