My Virgin Media internet performance has deteriorated over the last month to an almost non existent service. This video demonstrates this poor service in trying to access Virgin WebMail. Speed is exceptionally slow. I live under 1 km from the exchange and the service used to work fine. I have attempted to contact them using the online assistant. This does not load on my Operating System. (I have tried Safari, Firefox, SeaMonkey and Camino) I have now used their email form three times to report the fault and have not had a single response. I do not wish to ring the premium rate customer support line because I do not need technical assistance. I simply wish to report a fault and don't feel I should pay a premium to do that.
Sorry to hear about your problems with the service. I've been with Virgin Media for almost 2 years and never had a problem. I'm on the internet using the 50 meg broadband. Sometimes the service does have a few hiccups at some point but not all the time. If for any reason if the problem persists.. just back out and leave. Find another service provider.

i like the look of new virgin box, but i cant go with virgin as im not sure its reliable, will it work with xbox live or will games lag, will it work with multi wifi connections, will the new box do what it should without problems. i want something that works, i dont want to know how to fix something, or phone any call centres.

I used to like the virgin brand before my experience with virgin media. Now I avoid the whole lot like the plague.

The main reason why virgin are shit is because they don't just do internet/ tv. & phones.

virgin gelatica where you can get to spend 5 mins in space for only a couple hundered thousand quid.
seriously they should consider giving unhappy customers a fucking discount on all their shit services.

Get on to the VM help forum and make your own post. It wont get you real help but at least your registering a complaint and you don't feel your suffering alone. Ring them upbut don't accept BS answers. Someone should then organise a petition aimed at VM top management. Also inform the press. My service is just as slow between 5 - 11 usually.

I have Virgin Media 50MBit Cable Broadband and it's absolutely brilliant. 50 Meg Download 6-ish Meg upload. Never had a problem, and they always pick up the phone when I call them to change anything. Had a slight problem with installation, but it wasn't really their fault, even so I complained to the MD, and received a response the very next day from his office by email and phone, promising they would fix it for me. 5 Star Service in a world of liars and small print scheming companies. I totaly Agree with you, Virgin Media internet performance has deteriorated over the last month they F****** Suck now internet speed is so slow webpages take forever to load they need to fix up.
I visited Pingtest.net took the test my Results were Packet loss: 55% Ping 1000+ Jitter 1000+ WTF.
You say you live under 1km from the Exchange is that in Ilford?

you are all wrong virgin is the best service on the market and set to get better you just havent had a proper install and i agree that you should be angry i have it installed my friends have it and all the people ive installed think its a great service you always get lazy people not doing a good job these are the people that should be to blame and now its being installed on a perfomance =better pay you should start to see a big difference
