SharePoint 2007 & VS Net 2005 Extension for WSS 3.0 List Lesson 4 (Part II)

Sharepoint 2007 Built-in supports various type of Lists such as Tasks, Issue Tracking etc. Each List has default fields or columns, Forms (new, edit and display) and views. But you can customize this list by adding new or existing site column, adding more content type and creating different views. You can also save your customized list as template to create other list form this template specially if you need more than one list with same customization. You can also customize list Forms layout to hide some fields or to create multiple edit form (EditForm.aspx) using Sharepoint Designer.In this lesson you will learn how to customize a list Forms to create a new layout for NewForm.aspx, EditForm.aspx using Sharepoint Designer.
