Jackie Evancho, featured on Japanese daytime variety show (09.23.2011)

Here's another TV feature on Jackie's very first visit to Japan and her new album Dream With Me.

This is NTV "Miyaneya", weekday daytime varierty show which was aired on September 23.

The footage also features a very short interview with Jackie and a message from her to Mr.Miyane, host of the show.

It look like Japan is treating Jackie like gold She is loved all over the world. Your voice will take you all over the world as said on AGT. What is not to love. She is still a shy and humble child even with all that has happen to her. Jackie will go on to be America's ambassador to the world through her voice. This child has changed a lot of lives mine for sure. I am not the same not caring person anymore.

Does anyone know how her DWM cd sales are doing in Japan? From the facial expressions on this video, I'd say our Japanese friends are just as awe struck of Jackie as we in the USA. I wonder how wide spread her popularity is Japan? Can anyone enlighten me? Thank You.

In the opening, they refer to her as "Be shojo" which means beautiful young girl. They also refer to her as Jackie-chan. "chan" is an endearing honorific attached to the name of someone who is young. If she was not well liked, they would drop the "chan."

I loe the interview where Jackie speaks Japanese. She is so at home with it, like she is a native speaker!
