Atwoli:We are ready for mother of all strikes

The general strike is on beginning this Monday,that's the message from the Secretary General Of The Central Organisation of Trade Unions Francis Atwoli. Atwoli maintained that the 10-day strike is a protest against the high cost of living affecting majority of Kenyans and not only the matatu sector. His comments come after the Matatu Owners Association once again distanced itself from the planned strike. However, the Matatu Welfare Association has given the strike its full backing.
