Eastern Grey Kangaroo, Joey Rescue

This is a perfect example of why You Should Check The Pouch of a Dead Kangaroo/Wallaby/Possum ect.(if it is Safe for you to do it, Watch Out for Traffic) This Female Adult Eastern Grey Kangaroo had been dead on the side of the road for 2 Days before we recieved a call for Help. We were asked if we could remove the dead Roo as it was distressing people driving past. The Male Joey that we Rescued from His dead Mum, is doing very well & is being Hand Raised by Helen. He will be ready for release towards the end of this Summer, along with his new Siblings, 1 Male, Eastern Grey & 2 Female Eastern Greys, all Joeys, all around the same age & 1 Female Swamp Wallaby Adult & Her Joey Son. So with a few Brothers & Sisters he is growing up knowing that he is a Macropod & Belongs with the rest of His New Mob, at the Leopold Wildlife Shelter.
