many women all over the world wear similar uniforms of modesty, and just because you have become accustomed to freer modes of dress in a western country, that does not make theirs (which has been around for a lot longer than the mini-skirt) any more controlling. women wear who wear "freer" clothing in the west are seen as overly sexual by many middle eastern countries, and it is not something that is admired.

it acutally is extremely racist, and if you research the subject academically, you will find that almost all cultural studies will find your opinion on the hajib to be rasisct. many women wear it because they feel it protects them from the sexually over-driven eyes of foreign men.

I watched the video, and found no racism in it. I'd like to extend my apologies on behalf of the entire bay area. We have a few ass-clowns in positions of power as well, unfortunately.
