This is the amazing FMS T-28 Trojan - the start of a new generation of foamy R/C models. Retractable gear with sequenced gear doors, a complete light set, functional cowl flaps, landing flaps and a scale propeller - what a gorgeous model. And to top it off, it flies like a dream!

  • people replace the esc on alot of these planes what kind esc is a good one to replace it with

  • @richardarichter123 Any good 60A ESC should do fine. Check to see that the ESC has a switching BEC, or add your own external UBEC to power the receiver.

  • @HeRacesTheSun Thanks! You can definitely go bigger, you may have to cut some foam to make it fit. The plane will definitely carry more weight. I have seen it run on 5S as well, just be certain that you upgrade the ESC first. My timer is set for 7 minutes, I could probably go longer.

  • @briguy99 I like the music, very uplifting! Is the 4s 3300 the best size lipo and what flight times does that give? or can I go bigger like a 3800 or 4200? Thanks...

  • @briguy99 ok thanks alot guy

  • @briguy99 Yes, I put one size bigger on the front. I should've been clearer, I meant to ask if the landing struts were strong enough. They're made of a plastic. Was just curious how your's were holding out.

  • @gonzotroop1982 Not really. Some guys on the forums have put bigger wheels, mine are working fine.

  • @briguy99 I noticed that you guys were taking off on Grass. Have you had any issues with the retracts on rough surfaces? I'm nervous about them breaking.
