  • You guys used to practice in my neighbors gargage., awsome.

  • fav song on the album

  • YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Oh poor Spidey. That was a messed up comic.

  • its not a tribute too Spider-Man comics, its about a comic where Peter Parker got molested as a kid

  • This is a great song

  • I just heard this song literally 3 minutes ago. The Black Lips are so amazing. I'm hooked on this album after only 1 listen.

  • @samuelmichaud So don't get me wrong, they write good songs. Just not so many on this album. Or maybe coulda gone a step further.

I do feel like they left some of that better old stuff of theirs and traded it for this all out (except vocals) 60's garage psychadelic popperella shit. It's great, but it's been milked long ago, kids just don't know about it.

And this becomes fresh stuff again.

So please go on and enjoy this stuff. Don't need to get all shaken up by my having a shitty opinion.

  • @frostytheaussie Ok thanks for your opinion. However I have no idea why you're on about Spiderman since I never mentioned it.

Please don't get pissed, i'm just gunna ask you... What does "artsy" mean to you?

Garage? Sure thing. It's all fun.

Perhaps I should do a take-2 on what I said before.

I think(opinion/pers.taste) that this sounds like a million bands from the 60's. I've been into old psych-pop for a few yrs now. Sounds the same, just with B-Lips vocals... eh... it's just meh.

  • @samuelmichaud a) it's hardly "artsy", b) it's not based on any spiderman comics or anything, it was inspired about a sex ed brochure they were given in elementary school where spiderman was used to teach them about things like sex, puberty, and rape.

don't try to read too much into garage, its all fun
