http://www.newmexicoinfocus.org - Attorney General Gary King is on the defensive this week, after a Santa Fe New Mexican opinion column suggested it might be time for him to step down. At issue is the Attorney General's handling of several corruption cases, especially those involving prominent democrats. Critics accuse him of not going after those corruption cases hard enough, and putting other corruption cases at risk, like the ones against former Secretary of State Rebecca Vigil-Giron and State Investment Council whistleblower Frank Foy. THE LINE panelists talk about the pressure of Gary King, and what he needs to do to restore his image. The panelists also talk about Congressman Steve Pearce's call for an expansion at the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant, or WIPP.
