A video done about Urban Sprawl. Done after seeing the effects of the city of Calgary's growth in recent years. Ranches that have been turned into parks for city people to enjoy nature and kicking out the horseback riders because it spoils nature. Old traditional ranches being turned into and named after new communities so people can feel western by living in a community named after a ranch that was destroyed by urbanization. Photo's from all over Alberta, from Southern Alberta to the Peace Country in Northern Alberta.

Done to a song also inspired by the growth of Calgary, AB.

Urban sprawl isn't going to stop until the Canadian Government caps immigration levels to below 'replacement' levels (less than 80,000 per year). There is no way we can continue with our completely unsustainable, absurdly high levels of immigration--over a QUARTER MILLION a year--and not have sprawl.

Regardless of how dense you build new developments, you'll be using former farmland and greenspace. We need to stand up to the developers' lobby and impose a hard cap on immigration, as in the UK.
