This is part of a larger workout involving outdoor conditioning. It consists of an uphill sprint (of sorts!), followed by 10 tuck jumps, a downhill bear crawl, 10 clap push-ups, uphill bear crawl, 10 chest slap push-ups, and finally a downhill lunge walk to the start. This would be repeated for maximum rounds in 5, 10 or 15 mins.

  • Those lunges are weak. Try exploding lunges were you stay in the same place and launch up into the air, then put your forward foot back and back foot foward. That will increase your power.

  • @Jaboie Thanks for that - the lunges are weak due to fatigue and hydrogen build-up mate, which is the point of the workout. No perfect form - this is real time stuff ;-)

  • Those aren't push ups. All the way down son!

  • @Jaboie Emphasis is on explosion dad!! Not dropping all the way down - limited ground time is key ;-)

  • Haha, very true! I just did a week at Lympstone CTC with my college students and we did plenty of that, my MMA clients didn't like it one bit when I included it in the animal rounds!! Cheers.
