The death of Cliff Burton brought an end to Metallica's richly orchestrated and complex songwriting. All true Metallica fans know this and it is clearly reflected in their music post "And Justice For All" (a large part of 'Justice' had already been written on the road while Cliff was still alive). That being said Jason is a phenomenal bass player as Cliff was. And when Jason left, Metallica's music not only changed but went to complete garbage. Jason was the gel that held it together.

Only now after many years I realize how nice this guy Jason is. He deserves my utmost respect which he has never got in Metallica. Instead of that he was bullied and belittled for years. It must have been very tough for him and I am sure no other Metallica member would have withstood that kind of mistreatment. RESPECT AND LOVE FOR JASON.
