Wow, just wow.

Absolutely gorgeous playing, and incredible ambiance. What a beautiful story this song paints. Thank you Keith Jarrett for giving this to us!

There is so much pain in this masterful interpretation, at times the music becomes sweeter and seems to restore hope but in the end then you go back into the darkness of the universe..

the introduction is ridiculous, he's a true jazz pioneer.

The only reason why such great things have not so many views is because they are like treasures which are not wanted to be shared with anyone, your own, spiritual, priceless, unknown to others

beautiful !

@Ncherpelis : It was recorded at Salle Pleyel in Paris. Are you sure this is a Bösendorfer? Might it be a Pleyel piano?
-
@monkgroupie : This piece is recorded in 'The Paris concert' (ECM Records, No. 1401). The composer is Russ Freeman. Jarrett's interpretation is magnificent!
Happy new year!

A sound that could only be produced by a Bösendorfer Imperial. Bravo.

i listened that first when i was 8. now i get the meaning.. get the feelings it sends out..
clearly love it
There is so much beauty here it is hard to bear-it simply goes right into you, liquid and sublime. So far beyond the power of words to describe. I'm so glad to be alive to hear him play.
