Just like when I used to race R/C Off road cars for 8 years, some people thought they were toys but had no idea what was involved in the mechanical and driving side. Wish we had something like this at school as I loved working on slot cars as a kid, still have my AFX, Scalextric and a Group 12 1/24 car
good on ya mate, we more people like you who don't want to spend their lives in an office doing "admin" work living for the weekend. I hope you make it and keep the majority of the F1 paddock british
No. I am older than them, and they dont always view it uncool, and not every child in Britain today is thick, but I do agree with you when May states about physics involved in this.
i wish you could get that design programme free!!! I am in secondary school and our school probably wont enter even though its a computering and science school!!! lol
this is a brilliant idea, im a child of the 80s where this kind of 'toy' started dying out along with trainsets and the like. Like May says, it teaches you a lot of stuff without even realising it plus if nothing else, it keeps your brain active as you are always thinking. I think kids these days see this kinda thing as 'un-cool' - maybe because it involves some brain power???
