Hello Everyone :D As promised, here is my review of Chanel's Sublimage Eye cream....or the "Essential Regenerating Eye Cream." I have a couple more reviews and DIY videos coming up very shortly (refer to my Alerts video for more info). I was excited to share this eye cream with you for reasons mentioned in the video. I will tell you how to get this eye cream for cheaper, as promised, in an upcoming video. Either way, your safest bet is to get a 3ml sample first (either from a Chanel retailer or somewhere like eBay) :D Sorry, I look a little bit ragged in this video (I had been up for 24 hours and it was very hot in the room I was filming in lol)...and the coloration turned out a bit pink haha, but I wanted to get this video up asap. I hope I covered absolutely EVERYTHING about this eye cream, but if you have any questions, please leave them for me in the comments.

And, if you would, PLEASE RATE :) Thank you so much!!

Although I really hesitate to give this eye cream a specific rating, I think I would probably give it about a 6 out of 10 (with all things considered). Again, it might be an 8 or a 9 for the right person :D

As for the ingredients in Chanel's eye cream:
1st ingredient is water.
2nd ingredient Glycerin transports water from the environment and from the lower layers of skin (dermis) to surface skin (epidermis). It softens the skin. Glycerin is a substance naturally present in skin which helps maintain the epidermis and prevent dryness or scaling.
3rd ingredient Squalane is oil derived from shark liver or olives. It is a natural component of skin as a good emollient that has antioxidant properties.
4th ingredient Butyrospermum parkii (Shea butter) is a plant lipid that is used as a natural moisturizing emollient in cosmetics.

Beyond the fourth ingredient (as the concentrations get smaller and smaller), there is cetearyl alcohol, pentylene glycol, canola oil, methyl methacrylate crosspolymer, peg-8 beeswax, beheneth-25, cetyl alcohol, cetearyl glucoside, phytosteryl canola glycerides, amonium acryloyldimethyltaurate/vp copolymer, palmitic acid, hydrogenated lecithin, dimethicone, butylene glycol, sodium methylparaben, xanthan gum, centella asiatica extract, hesperidin methyl chalcone, 0-cymen-5-0l, VANILLA PLANIFOLIA FRUIT OIL, steareth-20...........(and about 15 more ingredients)

As I mentioned in the video, I will start doing audio reviews to accompany the blog postings. To see an example of this, I provided a link to an unlisted video in which I review Clive Christian's No. 1 Perfume Spray for Men (or the 'worlds most expensive perfume'). That link can also be found here : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XUwCGva38FE

*I bought this product. Not paid, promoted, sponsored, etc. This will remain the case... :D*

(Dont forget to rate :D :D) Thanks for watching!! -Michael

  • 200 dollars?!? That is painful. And its a commission, not a kickback, its part of sales and is expected. I imagine working at a counter that does not have commission is less desirable.

  • @johnlovesbridge The kickback is an additional lump of money they get in addition to their standard commission for promoting the sublimage (the msot expensive) line specifically.

  • @TheSublimeAgent Can I borrow that blouse?

  • @johnlovesbridge No. U need to stop being a h8r...lol.

  • have you been gaining weight?? I just watched all your videos, you look much skinnier in your video from last year, the one about Tretinoin.

  • @arab4ever Hehe...I agree. The lighting kinda makes me look a bit more chubby than I actually am. Believe it or not, but I think I weigh a bit less than I did last year haha. Thanks for watching!
