@mirwin931 No, he meant to say Ireland. With all of it's 32 counties.

You know, the Irish - American ally is strong and great. America has always been so loyal to us, taking us in during painful British rule. I may not agree with Bertie's choices in government, but he has made good terms abroad, and he did well here too.

@mirwin931 Ireland/Nothern Ireland, same thing.

He said peace in Ireland, what does that mean? Northern ireland I think he meant to say.

Oh my god they cant even pronounce, or even prepare the former taoiseachs name in front of the whole world correctly. God help them! Berty A-Herrrrnnnnn.

Haha, Pelosi mispronounced both Ahern's name and the name of the country... (its Ire-land, not I-R-Land

i wonder if he told them in his speech that the reason he was resigning was because we found out how corrupt he was and that he was getting out while he still could, because i doubt that they would have given him a standing ovation, for 11 years of corruption, would they?
I really dont know much about Bertie's politics.
But he's right about America and Ireland needing to have closer relations from now on.

I have the high privilege and distinct honour of presenting to you; his excellency; Bertie A-Hole, sorry, Bertie A-Hern.
Well the former referal would have been quite appropriate also!
