a true 'old-soul' sound. Her CD is excellent and the one and only bluegrass album I've ever listened to. Is there any other contemporary artists with a similar sound out there? I tried The Secret Sisters and wasn't impressed...

Sara just oozes with talent. There's true honesty in her performance and an old soul in her sound. Her singing alone is breath-taking & the instrumental work has the feel few players EVER achieve. I've been a recording engineer for 24 years. There aren't many session guys who have that kind of feel and solid meter with her playing... She ebbs and flows tempo only if the song needs it... There's no drummer when she performs... BUT she's clearing marching to the beat of a different drummer!
