@BlackFolkAndPiano I rarely play Irish music in real life. And you are right, the Scottish style has almost completely disappeared. Scottish music is being subsumed by a sort of homogenised "Celtic" music which is mainly irish influenced.

@hostroute then why do you play irish music so often? we'd like to hear scottish tunes played in scottish style...
moreover: many scottish players as the ones in Silly Wizard or Tannahill Weavers don't use such an invasive tonguing... have they adopted the irish style of playing?

@Roberdezam I am Scottish and we tend to tongue notes more than the Irish.
nice I'm thinking of gettting one of these also in low D but mine is 29 cm what size is that you are playing?
