@fabian2029 There's no footage of him without cuts anyway of him walking up the carpet and doing the trick spontaneously. It is very clever but he seems quite rooted to the ground on his right leg there. No footage of him walking away from there at all.
all very close but Willo is right, all the supports and hinges in the world, wont stop you falling over. He does this trick on the actual red carpet, on the run up to the event, so he can't spend "5 minutes" setting something up, he just walks up the carpet and does it, very clever.
@Willogrady1 Hinge or no hinge, how does this arrangement stop him toppling? the bottom part must be fixed to the floor somehow? And he must have to strongest quadricep muscle in the world to lower and lift himself like that!
Okay I am going to reveal how this trick is done so if you do not want to know then don't read the rest of this comment...........He has a plate attached around his lower back which is connected to a pole which runs down the back of his leg and into his trainer. The pole has a very strong hinge at his knee so when he bends backwards the pole can bend at the hinge because his knee bends aswell and he then simply leans on this plate that holds him up by a very strong hinge.
@cinemar It isn't to do with him not moving. Trust me.

So he should still fall over though if it's only connected to his show, must be a magnet and the ground it's the only way he wouldn't fall
